About the Subject

This course includes four units and in this course. We will discuss beauty products and practices throughout history, gossip and rumors, and world languages. We will learn how to conduct an interview.

You Will Learn :
Unit 9( Beauty Is Only Skin Deep) : we will discuss beauty products and practices throughout history, talk about the importance of beauty products, make a complaint Grammar : ( Noun clauses beginning with that, noun clauses after verbs, noun clauses after adjectives, noun clauses as subjects of sentences, need to do; get \ have done, and present and past participles. Writing: we learn how to write a persuasive essay about the importance of beauty. Unit10( They Said, We Said) : we will discuss gossip and rumors . v. we will learn about the words connected with the body Grammar: noun clauses as reported speech versus quoted speech, rules and exceptions to the sequence of tenses, noun clauses beginning with whether or if, modals auxiliaries for the present and future: must, should, ought to, may, might, can, could. Writing: we will learn how to write a summary of an article about gossip. Unit 11( Express Yourself ) : we will learn how to discuss world languages , talk about the English language . we will learn how to ask someone to repeat something , we will learn about words connected with different kids of vacations. Grammar: we will explain adjective clauses and relative pronouns, relative pronouns as subjects and objects of adjective clauses, future forms with will and be going to, and conditional sentences with if – clauses ( present ) wish \ if only Writing: we will learn how to write an email to my friends Unit 12( Lost and Found) : we will learn how to conduct an interview, express regret, and express understanding, and we will learn words connected with historical monuments. Grammar: we will explain when I use where, when, and whose in adjective clauses, conditional sentences with if – clauses ( past) as if \as though, and inversions. Writing: we will learn how to write a personal narrative paragraph
