    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Statistical Data Classification, Graphed Data and Frequency Distribution Tables, Mean-Median-Mode for Listed Data and Grouped Data, Range-Standard Mean - Standard Deviation and Variance, Definition of Probability, Rules of Probability, Conditional Probability and Bays Law, Continuous and Discrete Random Variables, Binomial Distribution, Z – Score and Area with Given Z – Value, Sampling Distribution of the Mean Central Limit Theorem, Testing hypotheses about Population Mean and Proportion.
