    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Definitions of Statistics Descriptive and Inferential Statistics, Data Collection and Sampling Techniques, Organizing Data Categorical Frequency Distributions Grouped Frequency Distributions, The Mean - Median and Mode and Weighted Mean, Range- Variance and Standard Deviation, Coefficient of Variation, Calculate Pearson's Simple Linear Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression Equation, Sample Spaces and Probability, The Addition Rules for Probability, The Multiplication Rules and Conditional Probability, Counting Rules, Probability and Counting Rules, Discrete Probability Distributions, Continuous Random Variable Distribution, Binomial Distribution and Poisson Distribution, Bernoulli Trails, Finding Areas Under the Standard Normal Distribution Curve and Application of Normal Distribution.
