  • About the Course :

    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Statistics Descriptive – Inferential, Data Qualitative (Nominal and Ordinal), Frequency Tables and Graphs for Qualitative and Quantitative Data, Mean-Median and Mode Ungrouped and Grouped Data, Range- Definitions- Standard Mean-Variance and Standard Deviation, Pearson Correlation and Definitions and Computation, Index Numbers, Definition of Probability, Computation and Permutation, Computation Probability, Conditional Probability and Bayes Theorem, Binomial Distributions, Random Variables.
