    This three-credit course provides a basic background on the limits and continuity of the functions of a single variable, topics also include differentiability and techniques of differentiation, Implicit differentiation, local extrema, first and second derivatives tests for local extrema, concavity and inflection points, curve sketching, applied extrema problems, the mean value theorem, and applications.




  • You Will Learn :

    Definition of Limits, Computation of Limits, Limits Involving Infinity, Asymptotes, Continuity, Tangent Line and Rates of Change, Techniques of Differentiation, The Product and Quotient Rules, Derivatives of Exponential Functions, Derivatives of Logarithms Functions, Derivatives of Trigonometry Functions, Derivatives of Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Derivatives of Hyperbolic Functions, The Chain Rule, Parametric Differentiations, Implicit Differentiation, Maximum and Minimum Values, Increasing and Decreasing Functions, Concavity and Second Derivatives Test, L’Hospital’s Rule, Indeterminate Forms, Rolle’s Theorems, Mean Value Theorem, and Sketching Functions Graphs.
