About the Course
:
It is an introductory course in statistics intended for students in a wide variety of areas of study. Topics discussed include displaying and describing data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests with applications in the real world. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

Variables and Types of Data, Data Collection and Sampling Techniques, Graphical Representation, The Mean, The Median, Mode and The Weighted Mean, Measures of Variability, Pearson and Superman Regression, Linear Regression, Linear Regression Models, Linear Regression and Correlations, Probability, Definition and Concept of Probability, Conditional Probability and Independence Events, Probability and Counting Rules, The Binomial Distribution and Bernoulli Trails, Hypergeometric Distributions, Poisson Distributions, Z _Score, The Normal Distribution, Testing Hypothesis and Confidence Intervals.
