  • About the Course :

    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Statistical Data Classification, Statistical Data Classification and Frequency Distribution Tables, Graphical Data Representation, Mean-Median-Mode, Range-Standard Mean- Standard Deviation and Variance, Definition of Probability, Rules of Probability, Conditional Probability and Bayes Law, Continuous and Discrete Random Variables, Binomial Distribution, Bernoulli Trails, Z – Score, Area with Given Z – Value, Sampling Distribution of the Mean Central Limit Theorem, Estimation of the Population Mean and Proportion, Testing Hypotheses about Population Mean and Proportion.
