  • About the Course :

    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Collecting Data and Frequency Table, Graphs of Data, Mean-Median-Mode, Range-Standard Mean-Variance, and Standard Deviation, Sets and Set Operation, Definition of Probability, Permutation and Combination, Probability Rules, Conditional Probability and Bayes Theorem and Applications, Discreet Random Variables Distribution, Continuous Random Variables Distribution, Binomial Distribution, Z – Score, Area Under the Normal Curve and Applications on Normal Distribution, Index Numbers Problems and Time Series.
