  • About the Course :

    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Mean-Median- Mode, Range-Standard Mean- Variance- Standard Deviations, Graphical Displays of Data, Correlation and Linear Regression, Basic Probability Concepts, Binomial Distributions, Normal Probability Distributions, Random Variable, Confidence Intervals and Hypothesis Testing of Mean, Proportion for One or Two Populations, Anuva and Hypothesis Tests for Goodness of Fit.
