  • About the Course :

    Course Description: This is an introductory course in statistics aimed at students from a wide range of disciplines. Topics covered include the representation and description of data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing with real-world applications. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Definition of Statistics and Types of Statistical Samples, Representing Statistical Data and Creating Frequency Distributions, Graphical Representation, Arithmetic Mean-The Mediator and The Mode, Standard Deviation and Variance and Percentile, The Concept of Probability, Laws of Probability, Conditional Probability and Base Rule, Discrete Random Variables, Continuous Random Variables, Expectancy and Variance of a Random Variable, Normal Distribution and Find the Area under the Normal Distribution Curve, Binomial Distribution, Hypothesis Testing.
