  • About the Course :

    It is an introductory course in statistics intended for students in a wide variety of areas of study. Topics discussed include displaying and describing data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests with applications in the real world. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

    Introduction to statistics, Organization of Data, Graphical Representation, Stem and Leaf Plots, Measures of Central Tendency, Measures of Variability, Probability, Counting Rules, Probability and Counting Rules, Conditional Probability, Probability Distributions Mean- Variance-Standard Deviation, Continuous Random Variable Distribution, The Binomial Distribution, The Normal Distribution, Z- Test and Confidence Intervals.
