  • About the Course :

    This course is a first in calculus, dealing mainly with differential calculus. This course will help the engineers in their life work. We introduce limits, continuity, derivatives, differentiation rules, and finally applications of differentiation (monotonicity, concavity, extrema, sketching the plane curves, Taylor and Maclaurin polynomials).

    Definition of Limits, Limits Rules, Limits of Trigonometry Functions, Continuity of Functions, The Derivative and Tangent Line Problems, Differentiation Rules, Derivatives of Trigonometric Functions, The Chain Rule, Implicit Differentiation, Higher Order Derivatives, The Derivatives of Inverse Functions, Related Rates, Extrema of Functions, The Mean Value Theorem, Increasing and Decreasing Functions, Concavity, Taylor and Maclaurin Polynomials, Curve Sketching, and Optimization Problems.
