:
It is an introductory course in statistics intended for students in a wide variety of areas of study. Topics discussed include displaying and describing data, the normal curve, regression, probability, statistical inference, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests with applications in the real world. Students also have the opportunity to analyze data sets.

Introduction to Statistics, Organization of Data, Graphical Representation, Types of Survey Errors, Describe the Properties of Central Tendency, Construct and Interpret a Boxplot, Measures for a Population, Variation, and Shape in Numerical Data, Basic Probability, Addition and Multiplication Rules, Counting Rule and Probability, Probability and Counting Rules, Conditional Probability, Fundamental Theorem of Probability, The Properties of a Probability Distribution, Compute Probabilities from Binomial Distributions, Poisson Distributions, Hyper Geometric and Negative Binomial Distribution, Compute Probabilities from the Normal Distribution, Chebyshev’s Inequality, Introduction to Samples, Concept of The Sampling Distribution, Compute Probabilities Related to The Sample Mean and The Sample Proportion, The Central Limit Theorem.
